Wisemans Ferry mansion sale, Tesla supercar and shares to go to children's charity

They say everything happens for a reason…

When Aram Ohanian first set eyes on a beautiful plot of land in Wisemans Ferry he imagined the dream home he could build. It took him 20 years and he spent an estimated $2.4million to realise the dream.

But then fate dealt a wicked hand. Aram became ill and before he could fully appreciate his new dream home, he passed away.

But sadness at his loss is tempered by the news that Aram bequeathed the entire sale proceeds from his home on Singleton Road to the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, plus the sale of his Tesla electric supercar, and a bundle of high performing shares.

“It’s unbelievably generous,” WFR real estate agent Rhys Coles told the Post.

Rhys is selling the home and is looking for expressions of interest on the property before December 18.

Rhys and partner Amanda who run WFR are also donating a percentage of their sales fee to the same charity.

“I think the generosity of the man to give all the proceeds to charity is amazing,” said Rhys.

“He owned the land for 20 years and had been building for the last 20 years. It was his passion”

Mr Ohanian's solicitor said Aram, "was always fond of children and was moved whenever he saw a child who was not well. He simply wanted the money to go to a charity and he consequently thought that the Childrens’ Hospitals were a worthwhile charity".

Let's take a walk around Aram Ohanian's dream home and have a think about how its sale will not only change the buyer's life, but will also improve the lives of countless children too.

That is a million dollar view

The house has what you might simply call exceptional river and valley views, plus a top notch build quality.

The house is set on three levels and there’s extensive use of glass doors and windows with the massive main living zone area featuring floor to ceiling glass, providing uninterrupted views and filling the home with natural sunlight.

The indoors flows seamlessly from indoor to outdoor with a well-structured modern terrace becoming an extension of the kitchen and main living space and features a motorised sun-shade with wind sensor to protecting you all year round.

Kitchen with all the best appliances

This area is ideal for barbeques and entertaining or a private space for quiet contemplation with stunning surrounds.

There are four large bedrooms all with BIRs, marble bathrooms, the en-suite and main with spa baths, beautifully appointed entertainer’s kitchen with sleek cabinetry, granite bench tops and premium European appliances.

If you like marble, you've come to the right place

The ground level offers a four-car garage, home theatre room, large office or gym space, cellar and storage. There's also ducted air-conditioning, an advanced C-Bus home control system, CCTV security system, and electric garage doors, plus - of course - a Tesla charging station.

Call Rhys Coles on 0406 704 040 for more info, or to make an appointment to visit. Expressions of interest must be submitted to WFR Real Estate in writing by 2pm Friday December 18, if the home is not sold before.
