Wisemans Ferry mansion sale, Tesla supercar and shares to go to children's charity

When Aram Ohanian first set eyes on a beautiful plot of land in Wisemans Ferry he imagined the dream home he could build. It took him 20 years and he spent an estimated $2.4million to realise the dream.

But sadness at his loss is tempered by the news that Aram bequeathed the entire sale proceeds from his home on Singleton Road to the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, plus the sale of his Tesla electric supercar, and a bundle of high performing shares.


“It’s unbelievably generous,” WFR real estate agent Rhys Coles told the Post.


Rhys is selling the home and is looking for expressions of interest on the property before December 18.


Rhys and partner Amanda who run WFR are also donating a percentage of their sales fee to the same charity.


“I think the generosity of the man to give all the proceeds to charity is amazing,” said Rhys.


“He owned the land for 20 years and had been building for the last 20 years. It was his passion”


Mr Ohanian's solicitor said Aram, "was always fond of children and was moved whenever he saw a child who was not well. He simply wanted the money to go to a charity and he consequently thought that the Childrens’ Hospitals were a worthwhile charity".
