Windsor’s $137m Bridge was damaged in the floods – plastic sheeting up while repairs take place
Quite a few readers have been asking why the plastic sheeting around the pier columns of the new $137m Windsor Bridge.
We wondered too, so we asked Transport for NSW.
“Windsor Bridge sustained damage in the recent floods,” said a spokesperson today - Friday.

“Some rectification works to the surfaces of bridge piers is being undertaken over coming weeks,” the spokesperson added.
We’ve asked - but why the plastic, what’s the actual damage, and is it dangerous?
So far we haven’t received answers to those questions. When we do, we’ll report back.
