The write stuff at Hawkesbury Library – writing courses for kids and adults

Dec 17, 2020

This coming year, Hawkesbury Central Library will be starting two brand new writing programs. One for children aged 11-14 and another for adults.

Writing Great Stories with Laura Greaves

Join author Laura Greaves (pictured above) to discover how stories are made, how to find stories worth telling, and why expressing ourselves is so important. The eight-week course will explore coming up with ideas, creating interesting characters and writing great dialogue. In these classes, students will develop their own pieces of writing, as well as working as a group. This program is run in partnership with West Words.

This program will run on Tuesdays from 4pm-5.30pm: 2, 9, 16, 23 February and 2, 9, 16, 23 March.

It’s suitable for ages 11-14 years. NSW Creative Kids Vouchers accepted.
