The weekend…welcome to Saturday

Lots going on in Windsor this weekend. Well worth a trip there, especially with this brilliant weather today.

The theme is a positive one – Hawkesbury Regeneration.. from fire to flood to regrowth

It looks to the future in the Hawkesbury of building prosperity and community. The installation has been created by textile artists of the Hawkesbury using parts of the collection of Helen Lancaster a renowned textile artist who sadly passed away last year.

Local basketry artist Sally Blackwell from Waste Not Fibre Designs played a big role in the design.

Get on down to Windsor and have a look, wander the Mall and stalls and enjoy the weather today folks.
