South Windsor man sets ute and motorbike on fire then shoots at them with shotgun multiple times
A man has been charged after allegedly setting two vehicles alight and then firing a shotgun at them multiple times in South Windsor’s Mileham Street on Saturday night.
Just before 11pm emergency services were called to the home after reports of a domestic-related incident.
Police will allege in court that a group of men were at the house, before two of them, who are both occupants, became involved in an argument.
After the group left the house, the 46-year-old man allegedly set a Nissan utility and a motorcycle on fire out the front of the home, before firing multiple shotgun rounds at them.
No one was injured during the incident.
Hawkesbury Police Area Command officers arrived a short time later and arrested the man, while NSW Fire and Rescue put the blaze out.
A crime scene was established, and a search warrant was executed, where officers seized a firearm, ammunition, two magazines with rounds and documentation.
The man was taken to Windsor Police Station and charged with possess unregistered unauthorised prohibited firearm in public place, fire firearm in or near public place, and damage property by fire.
He was refused bail and appears before Parramatta Bail Court today - Sunday.
