South Windsor man caught napping – arrested after breaching supreme court bail
A 28-year-man had a rude awakening on Friday when police knocked on his door in South Windsor.
The man had been granted bail by the Supreme Court on December 8, in connection with several criminal offences. He then breached that bail and, as they say, his whereabouts were unknown.
But following police investigations, officers from the Hawkesbury Proactive Crime Team went to a South Windsor address at 5.20pm on Friday and found the man asleep.
He was arrested without incident and placed back before the court to re-determine bail.
This time he remains in custody, awaiting his outstanding court matters later this year.
