Smoking is not good for your wealth

If you’re tempted to do this – it’s not just the tyres that get damaged, it could inflict pain on your wallet too, as a Hobartville man found to his cost on Saturday evening.

Hawkesbury Proactive Crime Team officers were patrolling the Richmond CBD just after 8pm on Saturday when they witnessed the driver of a Ford Falcon doing a burn out on March Street.

Officers stopped the vehicle and spoke with the 39-year-old driver. He was issued with a Traffic Infringement Notice for the offence of Operate Vehicle to Cause Driving Wheel(s) to Undergo Sustained Loss of Traction, which is a $697 fine.
