Residents warned to be on guard after attempted break-in at Kurrajong Cellars
A spate of thefts from cars across several Hawkesbury suburbs in the past two weeks and now an attempted break-in at Kurrajong Cellars bottle shop in the village centre is ringing warning bells for residents and shop owners.
Two would-be burglars were clearly caught on security cameras at the Cellars last night (Friday) trying to break in and owner Christine Mead says police have been informed.
Both of the alleged felons were caught on camera on the roof of the bottle shop and they broke security cameras with a dog bowl, but not before clear pictures of them had been taken.
Be aware and be alert and make sure all property is securely locked.
