Power Report 6.30am – 3257 properties without power, many out until this afternoon

Here are the Hawkesbury suburbs still without power. Endeavour Energy say they should all be reconnected by this afternoon.

Londonderry (767), Wilberforce (648), Ebenezer (455), Agnes Banks (376), Maroota (333), South Maroota (241), Yarramundi (234), Lower MacDonald (158), St Albans (139), Freemans Reach (110), Wisemans Ferry (106), Castlereagh (94), Grose Wold (79), Canoelands (73) and Oakville (62), Mt Tomah (73)

Work is commencing this morning to restore power to the remaining 5000 customers impacted by last night’s ferocious storm.

Fresh crews from across Endeavour Energy’s network will focus their efforts today on safely restoring power to the remaining customers as quickly as possible.

At the peak of the incident, 21,500 customers were without power as the storm brought powerlines down and sent trees crashing over the network.

The damaging winds and lightning caused more than 300 electrical hazards across a broad area.

“We are confident that all customers will have their power back this afternoon”, said Endeavour this morning at 6am.
