Updated: Feb 15
In what Hawkesbury Police have described as “an extremely disappointing weekend with respect to domestic violence incidents in the Hawkesbury”, officers arrested and charged three men and one woman in separate incidents.
On Friday afternoon in Richmond, police arrested a 26-year-old local man. He was taken to Windsor Police Station and charged with Domestic Assault. Bail was refused.
The following day saw officers arrest a 23-year-old Bligh Park woman in the early hours of Saturday following a domestic violence incident in the suburb. At Windsor Police Station the woman was charged with Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. She will be appearing in Windsor Local Court later this month.
Also on Saturday, officers were called to a Richmond address in the evening, following a report of domestic violence.
A 46-year-old Richmond man was arrested and later charged at Windsor Police station with Domestic Assault and Malicious Damage. He will be appearing at Windsor Local Court later this month.
Then, on Sunday afternoon Police were called to a South Windsor home following a report of domestic violence.
This time a 31-year-old South Windsor man was arrested and later charged at Windsor Police Station with two counts of assault on two separate victims and one count of contravening a restriction in a previously placed Apprehended Violence Order. He was refused bail and will appear in court at a later date.
