Man dies while swimming in Hawkesbury River at Windsor
A 51-year-old man died last night after being pulled from the Hawkesbury River at River Beach Windsor, about 7.50pm.

A friend and members of the public assisted, attempting to resuscitate the man before NSW Ambulance paramedics and police arrived and continued CPR. Despite their efforts, he died at the scene.

Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and have started inquiries.
Â
The man is yet to be formally identified. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
