Londonderry man refused bail after police stop car in South Windsor and find allegedly stolen goods

Jan 11, 2021

On Friday morning, Hawkesbury police detectives stopped a car at 11.30am because of the way it was being driven in the South Windsor area.

They discovered the 45-year-old Londonderry man at the wheel was in breach of bail conditions and a search of his vehicle revealed a number of property items police will allege were stolen or unlawfully obtained.

The man was arrested and taken to Windsor Police Station and a search warrant was applied for and granted, leading to a search of a Londonderry home where further items were seized by police.

The man has been charged with Breach of Bail and Goods in Custody and remains in custody waiting his next court appearance.

Detectives expect further charges to be laid in the near future.
