Hawkesbury SES would like to chop your car up

If you have an old spare car you don’t mind being destroyed bit by bit, Hawkesbury SES would like to hear from you.

“As the local Primary Rescue Unit, our members need cars to practice their skills on to keep our community safe,” said a Hawkesbury SES spokesman.

So if you have an old car lying around which you are happy to donate for SES team members to practice their life-saving skills on, please call Nathan on 0466 635 432 or Matt on 0438 676 688.

The car must have wheels so team members can move it around.

“It will be destroyed”, they say, but not until the team have had their way with it using the jaws of life and numerous other metal crunching and cutting equipment.
