Happy ending to police and PolAir search for family and baby
Hawkesbury Police called on the PolAir helicopter yesterday – Thursday – to search for a family and baby in the Blaxlands Ridge area after medical concerns about the youngster.
Police told us the child was taken from hospital by the family before all health checks had been carried out and to be on the safe side they were called in to try and track them down.
PolAir was requested because the area police teams were searching on the ground was mostly bush.
The good news is, the family were located and the baby taken back to hospital for further medical assessment.
Good team work by the police and a successful outcome for all involved.
