Get moving to get $100

Many local businesses have suffered during Covid but one of the hardest hit have been local gyms who had to close down completely during the early pandemic days and even now have restricted hours and always have to pay staff to be on site.

So we’re giving a shout-out to StayFit 24/7 in North Richmond shopping centre (above Coles supermarket) who are giving away $100 on their open day this Thursday between 9am and 8pm if you pop in and sign up for their $11.95 a week membership. If you don’t fancy the $100 you can opt for a pair of Beats headphones instead. And there’s more…if you join and refer a friend and they join too, you get another $100.

Do make sure you ask them about terms of conditions though because you do have to sign up for a fairly long-term membership, but if you’re going to go to the gym anyway, the $100 could come in handy.

“Covid has hit gym owners hard, but the shutdown and then limited opening hours have also made it hard for people who want to get fit,” says Fitness Instructor Jake Partridge. “We want to encourage people to come in and look at what we do and hopefully sign-up to one of the programs,” says Jake.

The weekly $11.95 deal includes a free personal program to help get you started and there are free ongoing group fitness classes in the week too.

If you want to go along on open-day-Thursday, visit the gym’s Facebook page first so you can book a slot because Covid-safe conditions are in place.
