COVID update – RESTRICTIONS – reverting back to Dec 23 levels until Dec 30
Premier Gladys Berejiklian has just announced Greater Sydney – which includes the Hawkesbury - reverts back to 23 December restrictions from midnight today, with no more than 10 visitors to your home allowed, until December 30, when the situation will be reassessed.
Meanwhile, the northern Northern Beaches are back to stay-at-home orders. There can be outside gatherings of up to five people or you can go out for exercise or to get essential supplies.
Southern Northern Beaches residents also have a stay-at-home situation, but two people can get together for recreation or exercise.
There are no mixings of households allowed for the next three days on the Northern Beaches.
Plans for New Year’s Eve and the first days of January will be announced in the next few days.
“We want to make sure we get on top of this in as short a time as possible,” said the Premier.
Nine new cases were announced this morning, all linked to the Avalon cluster - none in the Hawkesbury.
