COVID UPDATE – FRIDAY – lockdown for 4 Sydney suburbs
Sorry for the delay getting this one up.
So, from today anyone who has lived or worked in the local government areas of Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, and the City of Sydney in the last two weeks are now in lockdown for the next week.
All the other restrictions that are currently in place across Greater Sydney – which includes the Hawkesbury - will now remain in place until Friday July 2.
This means people in the lockdown areas - which does not include the Hawkesbury - are only allowed to leave the home for essential reasons - including purchasing essential goods, accessing or providing care/healthcare, work/education and exercise.
You can also visit your intimate partner if they are in the lockdown area, but not if one of you are outside Greater Sydney.
Businesses in those four LGAs can only open if they provide essential services.
