Council’s Chemical Clean Out cancelled due to COVID – 2022 for the next one

The Hawkesbury Chemical Clean Out event planned for August 8 has been cancelled due to the restrictions around COVID, and as there are no replacement booking dates available for 2021, the next event will be held in 2022.

The Council reminds residents that items including motor oils, fluorescent globes and tubes, paint, other oils, household batteries, gas bottles, car batteries, smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are all accepted free of charge at the Hawkesbury Community Recycling Centre at the Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility, The Driftway.

However…that is also closed to the public due to COVID, so you’ll need to hang on to those items until the restrictions are eased.
