Bligh Park house destroyed in suspicious fire this morning – police call for public’s help



Around 5am this morning a Bligh Park home was destroyed in what police say is a suspicious fire.


Police are calling for the assistance of residents who live around Neilson and Porpoise Crescents who may have CCTV footage capturing the movement of vehicles between 5am and 6am this morning - Thursday.


This footage will assist with the investigation of the suspicious house fire in Neilson Crescent which saw the home destroyed.


The efforts of NSW Fire and Rescue meant the fire was contained to one property and there are no reports of injuries.


Chief Inspector Garry Sims APM from Hawkesbury Police Area Command said: “We are appealing for people who may have CCTV footage of traffic in and around Neilson and Porpoise Crescents, who have not already spoken with police, to get in touch with us either through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or contacting Windsor Detectives on 4587 4099.


“At this stage of the investigation, we are treating this fire as suspicious and any footage would greatly assist our investigators.”
