Better access to Windsor police station for disabled visitors

There’s a new dedicated parking space right outside Windsor police station to help those with a disability get into the station more easily.

“We were aware for some time that there were parking issues in Mileham Street so we undertook discussions with Hawkesbury City Council and Police Properties for the improvement,” Chief Inspector Garry Sims APM said.

“Finally, these efforts have been rewarded with a dedicated parking place to make us more accessible to a greater number in the community.”

The parking spot is near the front door of the station making it more easily accessible for those with mobility issues
