Badges available today for free in Kurrajong and Kurrajong Heights - for folks medically exempt
The “I can’t wear a mask” badges for those who have a medical condition which means they cannot wear a mask, have arrived after being ordered by Kurrajong Heights resident Liam Shorte. They will be available for pick-up today – Friday.
Liam will be parked near the Fire Station/Memorial Park in Kurrajong Village this evening Friday from 5.30pm to 6.20pm, and after that he will be parked up at Kurrajong Heights IGA from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Liam says, “So come and grab a badge if you need one. They are free, or a gold coin donation to any charity. There are two options - a safety pin fastener version and a magnet fastener version.”
Please only take a badge if you or a friend or relative with a medical condition need one because they cannot wear a mask and are medically exempt. The badges are not for protest against mask wearing.
