Armed holdup at Clarendon Tavern – masked trio – one with firearm - escape with cash haul

Just before 10.30am yesterday – Monday - there was an armed hold up at the Clarendon Tavern with at least one of the three assailants armed with a gun.

Hawkesbury Police have told us staff were threatened before an amount of money was handed over, and one staff member received an injury to his elbow after being assaulted by one of the offenders.

A source has told us the sum of money taken was around $20,000, but we haven’t been able to verify that so far.
